Grumpy the Gator

In Grumpy the Gator, a group of children playing encounter a grumpy alligator. The story teaches children to always keep a safe distance from animals in the wild, and to find an adult if they see an alligator.

Time changes….

Hello, Welcome to the middle of March!!! Tonight is a big night as we “spring forward” in our time. I have heard and read various comments about losing that precious hour of sleep and reminders about setting the clocks tonight before bedtime. Also, this is a great time to check the batteries in your smoke alarms.
Yes, I sound like a commercial for the time change corporation. haha! No, I am truly trying to make myself remember to change the clocks and batteries in the smoke alarms. These are good projects for hubby and me today. 🙂
As we are thinking about time, what have you filled your time with lately? Pause and think about the moments, hours, days. Do you have special memories of these passing times? Did you reach out to someone to say hello and tell them you love them? Did you open your Bible today and read Scripture? Did you tell God that you love Him and thank Him for all the blessings He gives? Did you stop and listen to those birds chirping in the spring air?
And, of course, did you see all the pollen already on the porches and vehicles? Time for allergy season.
God gives us moments every day that we can use to glorify Him. Say hello to someone, send a note in the mail, make that phone call, smile a big smile “just because”, read your Bible, sit still and listen and know that God is with you always.
So, as the time changes, think of how you can change your time to make the world a more loving place.
Happy Spring!
Blessings,
Mimi
