Grumpy the Gator

In Grumpy the Gator, a group of children playing encounter a grumpy alligator. The story teaches children to always keep a safe distance from animals in the wild, and to find an adult if they see an alligator.

Light at the end of the tunnel…

I wake up with joy in my soul every morning. I thank God for the glorious day and know that whatever happens He is with me.

Living each day with faith and hope is important for seasons of sadness and for seasons of joy.

When life is moving along with regular daily activities like work, grocery shopping, cleaning house, writing, visiting friends and family, church events and more, there can be a time of not considering something might happen that will turn our lives upside down.

The unexpected event causes us to stumble, ask why and wonder how to “fix it”.

Moving through stages of grief takes time. Each person grieves in their own way. Whether the loss is physical, mental or spiritual, loss is loss and how we deal with the situation can Β help us and possibly help others.

There is peace in knowing God is with us at all times. He loves us. He is with us when we laugh and He is with us when we cry. He collects our tears. He listens when we vent. He carries us when we feel we can’t walk another step.

Every moment of every day be assured you are not alone. God loves you.

For each moment of sadness, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Look for that light.

Just like the sun shining through the trees in the above photo light can be found at the end of the tunnel.

Is there someone you know who is grieving? Can you lend a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on? Will you share a prayer, a meal or a note of encouragement?

Take time today and show love to another person.

Blessings,
Mimi

Thank you for this encouragement! With a chronic illness, I go through seasons of grieving the loss of myself and my high energy healthy body. This is especially true during periods of higher pain, such as what I’ve experienced since mid-January. These words are, therefore, encouraging: β€œThere is peace in knowing God is with us at all times. He loves us. He is with us when we laugh and He is with us when we cry. He collects our tears. He listens when we vent. He carries us when we feel we can’t walk another step. Every moment of every day be assured you are not alone. God loves you.” Thank you for the reminder!
